   Just Like I said in the tavern yesterday afternoon (even before the tally was in)....

   Stan's work is absolutely top shelf, can't get better that I can see. And he was the winner before the voting ever got going.

   Stan:

   I'm really glad sanity prevailed on this thing.  Regardless of the voting, the difference in craftsmanship, etc wasn't even close.   

   Now, since you already had one of every tool made by Dewalt, what are you gonna do with your duplicates... ;-)

   Seriously, you deserve to be recognized for what you are - one of the most skilled carpenters in the nation.  I'm glad that happened.

   Thanks for the compliment....but here is where I get all red faced.   The best are still out there...many not aware of this contest...many not bothering to enter.....they already know their winners.

   I guess I wanted to see if I was one....and yes...amongst the ones that entered...I was voted on top.  Not to undermine all the support I received here...but there are many more qualified to fill my shoes.....but.....to my credit....you have to enter...to win her....and so here I am!

   Thanks again ......I need to start a thankyou thread so I dont have to dance around trying to hit everyone here.

   You can knock off the "humbleness" routine now.  Now is the time to stand up and say "In your face!".

   J/K Stan...you are an inspiration to us all.  I will think of you the next time I have to repair some hack's work by saying "WWSS?" (What Would Stan Say?)

   Make sure you take some pictures of the new shipment that comes in.

   Congratulations Stan, I was getting a little tired of voting for you everyday and beating my list of deadbeats to do the same, but the best craftsman won in the end!  Now go rip off your shirt, pound yer chest and let out a Tarzan yell cause you are the king of this jungle!!
