I am going to have a new Clopay garage door installed. The door comes with nylon rollers. However, the installer said he would use the old metal 10 ball bearing style if I so desired. These nylon rollers seem “cheap” to me. I don’t see how they can possibly stand up like the metal rollers. He claims that they make the door run a lot smoother and quieter.

Anyone have experience with these new nylon rollers that would like to offer some advice?
