Good point, Barry. Plumbing has to be one of the most sex-based (in terms of terminology) trade out there. And I used to be a plumber - beleive me, it ain't sexy work.

Mike, are you referring to the titanium Stilletto's? Saw a 14oz for $69., felt great, but I wonder about the milled face. If the titanium model holds its milled profile I'm sold. I'll try that site - maybe it'll feture hammers!
Thanks, DM
*Mike,I'm a Stiletto convert, like the hammer too! Seriously though folksd, tts really great, especially for old guys with wasted elbows. I swear it can deliver every bit the power of a 28oz hammer. You won't regret.

Dustmonkey,
Check out http://www.stilettotools.com/accessor.htm for some of the accessories that you can get with the hammer. Saw a guy in Costco with the black death's head shirt. Neat.
I have a pair of Titans and I like them a lot. My favorite is the hatchet handle vs. straight. Your milage might vary. On sale here at Ganahls for $50 on occasion. Have not had an attack of tendonitis since I switched.

Was just researching Stilletto hammers in "search" from Tools for Homebuilding. Saw a few post on the titanium Stilletto and a suggestion to visit Stilletto.com. When I did, a XXXX porn site launched - talk about wood!! I averted my eyes, of course, and back peddled to Taunton. Phew, what a guy has to go through to find a good hammer. Come on guys, is this the hammer or should I be looking at the Death Stick? I'm afraid to search for Deathstick.com for fear of what may appear.
Regards, Dustmonkey
*My advice is not to do an Alta Vista search for any of the following carpentry or plumbing terms: stud, butt joint, ballcock, bull nose, breastwork, nipple, sweat, rip, dado, water works, or screwdriver (at least while the sig other is around). I'm sure there are more to avoid, but you get the idea.
