I’ve just moved to land of stucco (and block wall foundations, too). Any suggestions for references on stucco (books, online, anything) and dealing with door and window installations? TIA

Where are you?
You can kind-of think of stucco as a plaster wall, if you're used to plaster. The wall still has wood framing and sheathing and lath, with a thick (7/8 to 1") layer of cement.
Twin Cities, MN area ............. stucco is pretty rare in New England.
