how about using treated plywood as a base for t&g pine flooring on a covered porch? used it to strengthen the old joists (wasn’t in the budget to replace them) now someone say’s there may be a moisture issue…

I would not install a subfloor under T&G flooring. The moisture issue you hear about is why. Wouldn't be long b/4 you had a rotten mess between the two. Additionally, I would only run T&G flooring perpendicular to and with fall away from the house. Try the Search button on this site for a whole lotta info re/ porch flooring.
