b Subfloor for plank?
I’m using prefinished T&G oak in a slab-on-grade kitchen. I’m planning to install it over 5/8″ plywood subfloor. I want to staple the T&G in place.
One: can I use CDX?
Two: how should the subfloor be anchored, if at all?
i What say you all?

CDX should work fine if it's not too warped. We recently did this on a home we built. We used tapcons and glue. We got some real nasty glue from our flooring supplier specifically for gluing wood to concrete. This was applied with a notched trowel. Then we fastened the sheets down with 3/16"x1 3/4" flat head tapcons. After that, the flooring will be ready to fasten to your plywood. Good luck.
