Just wondering if any of you guys who work in New York City have any recommendations on lumber yards(or moderate lumber supply places, just need a few doors, 2x4s, sheetrock) located in easy vicinity of the Upper West Side? I’m going to be down over the next month or so designing and gc’ing a commercial job and don’t feel like hauling supplies down from Boston.

I don't know if their still in business (I've been out of NY for 25 years), but you could easily find out.
