I looked at Survivors in Lowes for the cellar in my new house. The frame is hollow vinyl. I decided to buy windows at another yard by Metal Industries from Pennsylvania. They have Aluminum frames with thermal break under the vinyl & double pane glass. Looked a lot stronger for the same money.

Has anyone used or know anythng about Survivor vinyl replacement windows sold at Lowes?
*I've installed the windows and find them in line with the rest of the vinyl windows in this price range. Lowes keeps most of the stock sizes in stock.
