I am in search of a new lacquer to use on a table top, as I am unsatisfied with the “new formulation” of my current supplyers lacqure. I am looking for water resistance, and abrasion resistance. A specialty product is ok, but would like something I could use generally on all my furniture pieces I build. Thanks in advance for your help

Conversion varnish or catalyzed lacquer. The varnish will have the warmth (amber) of typical varnish and the lacquer can be had as a water-white (clear) finish.
