I have a customer interested in a tankless hot water heater, specifically an electric one such as a SETS System. I know that Rinai has natural gas and propane modules and would like to know of the pros and cons of gas vs. electric. It seems like hot water recirculation lines would be a better alternative system, especially from a price stand point. Thanks.

Well the basic thing is to check YOUR COST of the two fuels. You also have the problems of venting a gas unit that might or might not be difficult.
And electric unit require a large amount of power (90-120 amps) and might need upgrading of the service.

Does not compute unless you can place the unit closer to each usage point, which might mean multiple units.
If the tankless is going to be in the same location where a tank style would be you still have the same wait time.
