On a construction project I visited, the plumbing contractor is using a Tee puller; something I’m not familiar with and can’t find much about them on the web.
Basically, they drill a hole into the copper pipe (in this case about a 4″line), insert the tool that forms a T connection from the copper pipe. It doesn’t appear to provide as much connection surface as a regular Tee. Anyone else have any experience with these? So far I’m seeing it used only on the larger sizes.

A plumber friend of mine who does radiant heating has a tee drill (that's what he calls it). Useful for guys who do radiant heating and want to make their own manifolds. He bought it on eBay, I think. If you're looking for one check the Wall at heatinghelp.com... lots of radiant contractors there.
like this one?

Sorry, but I still think my favorite tee puller is Brandi Chastain.
