If that wasn't done with Photoshop, she needs a special medical rider on her insurance to cover back problems. I wonder if they'll call it pre-existing conditions....

My sentiments exactly. Well, I'm up now at 7 AM and so is the house still....whewwww..its raining here today..ut oh......the guys should be here in half an hour to start cleaning the bottom of the trench and taking trowels to clean "some" of the dirt from tween the rocks. I'll be making more forms and hopefully get them set in today if it doesnt rain too hard and get ready for a pour tomorrow. I cant believe theres absolutly nada holding my house up for about eight feet or more under the front door.....gulp...told my wife and kid not to walk near there. YOu should have only seen my dreams last night....

        Be well

I've been trying to put two and two together from your comments Andy. Or is it one and one?

So you were dreaming about big ones with you wife gone and no support?

Then you poured a cross your heart concrete footing? Did the concrete set up and get hard? Be careful working today in you sleep deprived state. We don't want you falling in that hole! You could drown in all that muddy water without a sump pump!

I'll have to find a picture of one that I did with a corner on two posts and twenty eight feet and seventeen feet of walls up in the air. Then the owner decided to come spend the weekend and sleep in the bedroom two stories above it all. Then the wind blew that night right here on the coast. He claimed with an ashen face that he felt the bed lift an inch or two a couple of times during the night. He hasn't had the nerve for any more suprise visits since then..

          Excellence is its own reward!

WOWWWWWWW!!!!!! What a day.....The Bear showed up around 10 AM for moral support and some help. First load of concrete came (12 yds)....after five minutes one whole wall blew out into the dirt basement with about 4-5 yds slamming my washer and dryer that I just bought about three feet and blowing the feeds. Water pouring out and mounds of wet concrete filling the basement...The Bear and me dug the washer and dryer out. I threw some 1/2" ply I  had left over the 5' x 6' hole in the wall sunk into the wet crete...OMG..What a nightmare. The Bear said that the expression I had on my face was......well..just guess.Three guys ran down the basement and started rakeing and shoveling the crete smooth and cleaning it all up. The Bear and me were up to our knees in concrete (literally!!!). Meanwhile ....here comes another ready mix truck full and ready to pour...(and the first one is only half empty)..WOWWWWWW.....OMG! We have them go around the other side of the house and start pouring there while two guys are in the basement trying to clean up the ton of rock that blew into the basement and the yds of concrete....So nowwwww I  have a very nice smooth concrete area where the washer and dryer were and the stones are piled nicely up against the front wall and estetically look awesome......lol. I  had to shut the main water supply down cause the washer hose pulled the pipe off the wall and I was being flooded. Tomorrow I'll go down and cap the pipes. My wife asked me how am I gonna clean up tonight. I'm totally covered in mud and concrete. Told her I'll use the toilet water...DONT FLUSH PLEASEEEE! She said, "Andy, you are totally insane"....duhh.

We continued the pours after the fiasco and actually unloaded 24 yds. My concrete guy and The Bear said I have a steel set of Ballz to continue the pour. I said.....nahhhhh, I'm just stupied.....lol. Worked out perfect. Probably will need 6 more yds on Wednesday to finish the blown out wall side and a little here and there. What a day. The Bear so rocks. What a wonderful guy.Smart and helpful and a true friend. I  met him here in Breaktime so.......

Ya think this would make for a story at that last page in FHB?

Be well and I love you guys

                                            Namaste

Andy.....PS..I have pictures in my camera

PSS.  Piff..I seem to question your phrase about excellance.....something in there just doesnt hit me right.....maybe cause I like funk a bit more then excellance,,,,,maybe...It's the drama brother..the drama....Daring and ballz....maybe stupied but what the hey....dats how things get discovered. Ohhh...also..screw Murphy..he was just a duche bag....lol...bet he never had a callous on his hands his entire life.
