          Piffin,

How are you? How was your Holiday?

I use the 10" Bigfoot wormdrive with a swingtable on it. The saw can cut up to 75°

Piffin, I've noticed another guy with the name Framer, I didn't think that was possible.

OK, I misunderstood what you meant. I thunk you were talking about the ones that framer is correcting. I did edit that. I first wrote the text and posted it, forgetting to paste the link in, so I went back immediately and edited to add it.

Meaning that I'm too tired and going to bed.

Framer, hope you are doing OK with that new one in the oven.

I'm trying to post more than one picture.

          7. Piffin | Dec 05, 2002 04:25am | #29

Well, it looks like you got three of the same pic up there if that's what you wanted.

I do that sometimes and have to go back and hit edit/ manage attachments/check or select one and hit the delete button.

To post more than one of different photos, you have to be sure to wait until the anme of your photo or ather attachment reads in the list, then go get another from the browse button.

There's a fair amt of waiting and sometimes it seems to never come up so I hit upload agin and that's how I end up with two.

Once you upload, hit done button and then post.

and then, you can click it to see it here and right click on the image on screen to select, copy image lacation, and then use the link you just copied to paste into a JLC thread since they are handicapped about photos over there..

Seriously nice work dude! If you get into NY in the spring I'd love to hire you to help me frame some work on my new/old crib. Aught  to be a hoot trying to tie into a 322 year old crib. Kinda don't even wanna think about it till the time comes. Really wonderful work youve done. good luck (not that you need it)

        Andy,

On Joe's (Framer) recommendation, we bought the Bigfoot with the swingtable.  I'm glad we bought it.  It is really a great tool.  I agree with Joe that every framer needs to have one.  I'll let him extol the virtues, but on our jobsite we have all fallen in love.

        Andy,

        Thanks, How are you doing?

        Are you getting much snow?

        I have about 2-15/16" already.

I'm glad to see that your house is coming along. New Jersey is not to far. If you need help, I'll point my Box Truck in your direction.

I hope that I'm not annoying people with all these pictures but I'm a GOON when it comes to a computer and for me not to no how to do something like when I'm Framing, if there's something I haven't done befor I wont stop until I get it right.

Maybe in a couple hours I'll go out and Frame a snowman with a 12/12 pitch Bay Roof on his head with my son Joey ;-)

Joe the thumbs up just notifies you with a "rating of interest" as to what you personally want to take the time to read on this site.

You have posted you pictures to a carrier or formated them to a program where they can be accesed by others to look at.

Do you know which program or carrier that is?Bob

            Pro-Dek,

Sorry for being so Dense with this. The last set of pictures that I posted were installed in my computer from a Kodak Disc.

I installed them in my desktop and then loaded them one by one.

The first set of three that I tried I had pasted them, I thought they would all go through at once.

Hope I'm getting closer to answering your question. If not I'll call you if you want and try to explain what I did.

            Pro-Dek,

            My apologies again.

The link to the sight that has all those pictures of the house I framed is the homeowners website. He took all those picturesand put them on his sight and then gave me the link so I could post them here.

He owns his own computer company and also builds them. He built my computer.

Your talking about each time you click the arrow it goes to the next picture. If there's any specific questions you want me to ask him I will.

Just walked in and I took out my stick ruler again..swear dude...in my backyard it measures EXACTLY 11 15/16". Now dats cool (so to speak) for this time O year here on Lawng Island.

The historic society all left here this morning and it looks like I have the thumbs up for the addition. Have to meet again at town hall this Monday. they might want me to set back my garage/barn/shop towards the back of the house but I'm gonna scream at them about that. It'll end up looking like an attachment rather then part of the house. They wanna see the whole original house but tell ya what....kiss my azz......there were many new things done over the years here and Iplan on stayin' and dont figure this to be a museum as they see it. Aint choppin anything off it so.....theyre gonna get some rant by me on Monday if they screw around with me. You all know me well enough to probably wanna be at town hall Monday to hear me go off on em'. My wife just laughs and says she can't wait to hear me up there if they change what I want. LOL....Hey.its all part of the history of this ol house. Was first ownerd in 1680 by Andrus Titus..now owned by Andrus Clifford,,,,lol

I'll be calling you in the early spring to see if you wanna give me a week or so framing here with me. I'll send you a set of plans if you want. Send me an Email with yer address and phone #. Aught to be a serious gas.

Nor do you say, "Well, the hell with the inner work: I’ll go do the outer work because it’s so important and pressing." That’s not conscious either. The conscious thing is the simultaneous doing of both. "Ram Dass"http://CLIFFORDRENOVATIONS.COM

            Tim, here's an excerpt...

"I think maybe you are typing in the web adress for the links you put up and making some little minor mistake is why it is not always working.

Here's what I do. I use another window to navigate to the site through bookmarks/favorites/search google or whatever. Then I highlight the URL adress box at the top and right click it. I "copy".

Then I go to the other window and my Breaktime posting and I right click in that field and choose "paste"

That way the computer does all the work and I get the whole enchilada .

Good Lord Man! That 's a slew.

Funny, I saw the post a while back and the address wasn't there or wasn't highligted. Did you come back and add it as an 'edit'?

If the 'deleted messages' tag keeps coming up maybe Brian'll have a fit in tommorrow thinking there's girly photos being exchanged. Ha!  Half of good livin' is staying out of bad situations.

Oh gosh! This will now go on to add to the myth of piffin's powers- no I can't edit Joe's posts. He's been working on those.

I've never seen such a slide show either. It looks like Joe had a customer who was really into web photos and put them all together.

Joe, In one of those, it looks like you have one of those old monstrous heavy wooden extension ladders?.

            Piffin,

The guy who owns the house also owns his own computer company.

            Can you tell. ;-)

The other pictures I did from kodak disc and emailed them to him.

            Sorry about all the BS.

The first set of picture I stored on my desk top and pasted them onto here.

            I'll check my email. Thanks.

What program are you using to post all those thumbnails on one page? I have to get it for all my shots. I like the way it turns into a slide shoe if you click on the thumbnail. It all downloads really fast here. Great shots........Bob
