I’ve probably been through about two dozen power saws during my illustrious career as a builder and I’m still trying to find one that meets all my requirements. One would be a knob to set the depth of the cut. I remember having (believe it or not) a Black and Decker saw that had such a knob. It worked incredibly well….. large numbers to read and precision accuracy… whatever happened????I HATE levers that loosen..ugh.. the saw so you can haphazardly adjust the depth of cut rather then a knob that you turn slowly to where you need it….ya know, like the old radios…lol..We can get to the moon but no ones made a saw that you can smoothly adjust the depth of the cut?? Geezzz! C’mon feelas.whtacha gettin’ paid for? Power and light weight???? I think Skill was one of the best saws ever..Whatever happened there? I’ve never really had great luck with Porta Cable and I’ve owned a lot of their tools. Millwalkee has always been one of my favorites especially in the reciprocating saws. Jus’ never dies. I mean…Skill saws grabbed the name of power saws. Whatever power saw I have I seem to call it my Skill saw. Wutz wit dat?
