Looking for article in FHB or maybe the other guy (jlc) that shows details of adding rigid foam insulation over strapping on interior walls of new construction. Maybe three, four or more years ago, hoping somebody’s memory is better than mine. I know I have the magazine with the article, just can’t seem to remember more than that!

Can't help with finding the article, but.............
do a search here regarding Mooney Wall. Similar and maybe a better idea-still involves strapping.
The Mooney wall is what I had in mind, thanks for the info!

Best of luck.
There's a bit of photo spread that contains the Mooney Wall here.

Mike Smith is from just south of you in R.I.
Why OVER the stapping?
better reasons to foam on studs, and then strapping over the foam.
Maybe you can say what your situation and goal is
Yeah, foam over studs, strapping over foam, that was my mistake!
House is big and we are looking to get better than average efficiency. Were going to apply foam to exterior, but like this idea (Mooney Wall-etc) better. House is in Charlestown NH.
