There you go again; showing your age!!
I have a Felker that is close to 30 years old. i paid $100.00 for it about 15 years ago and it still works like a champ. I just give it a little love now and then.

I can't testify about the higher price saws, but I bought a $400 MK a few years ago. It was good (compared to a scorer) not great. One problem was the pump. I wound up getting, buying, a new pump. It worked intermittently for a while, then after warranty ran out, it quit entirely. My fault, I should have complained from day 1. The other problem is the design of the hose leading to the pump. The pump is moveable, and between the flexible hose and the pump that sticks up too high and in the way of the sliding platform, the pump is constantly getting knocked over, out of the water. It is/was a nuisance.
On the plus side, the thing cut like a champ. (45 degree cuts on 13 inch tiles got tough because it was tight.) I loaned the saw to a guy and he said the pump stopped working, but the saw cut tile like the water was meaningless.

I have an MK 101 that works great.
No experience with the target
Boss has a MK 7" with the grinder type motor.
the plastic tables has a sag in it and big tiles will breake before the cut is complete.

Look at the motor. Don't buy a saw with a grinder type motor.
Felker and Target are excellent saws. A lot of folks like the new Dewalt as well. It has some innovative features and very little overspray if you ever set the tile saw up inside.
FYI, I have a Felker.

Interesting and informative read here on tile saw motors and ratings, which can probably be extrapolated to many other tools as well.

If your looking to do some amazing custom tile work, we got a revolution by Gemini....can cut circles, and any type of curves. It has a band for a blade, diamond on both edges of the band, (circular band). A bit pricey, we paid 1,200, but killer for custom work. Nice set up, as the ring passes underneath the "table" of the saw through water. Beck

Do check the new Dewalt. I love mine and it is portable. Got it on Ebay at Tool King free S&H at $900.
MK are great--perfectly good saw that will last a long time. Very industrial. I'd give them a solid B or B+.Felker are awsome saws-solid A+ on them.Regards, Scooter"I may be drunk, but you're crazy, and I'll be sober tomorrow." WC Fields, "Its a Gift" 1934
DEWALT D24000S owner here. It's a great tile saw that I've been using for a long time. Cuts straight. Every cut looks like it was done with a laser. It's easy to set up, light to carry around. Works perfectly every time I use it. In my opinion, it can be used for both commercial and home uses.
