I have a tile job that was placed directly on an waterproof membrane over framing on a second story deck. It is apparently leaching grout on to the facia. Is there a fix for this problem short of redoing the job and can this be prevented as I have other jobs with the same application .

You're saying that the pigment is leaching out of the grout?
Besides the white discoloration leaching out there is a residue buildup that appears to be sand.
I would post the question with a more detailed description on either the johnbridge.com tile forum or the jlconline.com tile forum.
OK thanks
It may be lime leaching out. A weak acid wash may help.
Eventually (a year or two) the amount of lime leaching out will diminish.
I wonder if a couple of coats of impregnator would not help this?
Yeah, a grout sealer will reduce leaching, though it can also hold in moisture and make the area more susceptable to frost spalling, if frost is possible there.

This house is located in the south but is susceptable to frost and freezing conditions. Thanks for the input
if frost exists in winter u should be using porcelain tiles, ceramic is subject to spalling out w freeze/thaw i'd try a sealer, but use a really high quality product if sand is coming up, grout may be too soupy when applying, or being used too long and it has become hot try grouting smaller areas w proper mix if u think either is a concern
Thanks, that describes the situation pretty close. I'll try sealing the deck.
