I have a pocket door that is slightly tilted/crooked. When the door is completely open (hidden behind the drywall), the top part of the door is about ¾” of an inch exposed while the bottom half is flush with the frame.
.
Not sure what is causing it.
Repair ideas also needed. Hope there is an alternative that doesn’t include cutting into the drywall.
Thanks

It's either off the roller on one side or the roller is very out of adjustment. Close the door then look through the crack at the top. You should see a roller at each end and they should be in the track and attached to the top of the door. They should look the same. If they don't there is a nut on top you turn to raise or lower each edge of the door. You'll need a very thin wrench to get in there. You can buy a cheap set of ignition wrenches that will work.
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
If you have a removable stop (trim pc.) at the top that appears to be screwed, you can remove that stop to expose the track. Makes adjusting the rollers easier.
Search some install instructions like Johnson Hardware, it’ll help you understand the systems. Not all are alike……
Thank you for your ideas. These forums are an excellent feature of Fine Homebuilding.
calvin & florida are probably on the right track. It's possible the track isn't square to the jamb. You'll probably have to remove some trim to get to the adjustment.
Thanks for the help......
