Just wanted to say thank you for all the great information from everyone who replied to my questions about timber framing.  I had no idea what I was about to receive, but what a wealth of knowledge you guys are.  Special thanks to the two Joe’s for their in-depth conversations and great diagrams.  Looking forward to more head scratching and doing my research on breaktime.
