I’m building a two storey wrap-around deck and would like to use pressure treated 1 1/4 X 6 t&g decking. Problem is I don’t know anything about “flooring” a deck like this. I know it needs a slope more for the rain, but how much and do I always have to slope parrallel to the length of the planks. Also how tight should I set these planks together? ( I’m looking for water tight but trying to avoid buckling). And finally given all of the above what fastening system should I use? I know everybodies pretty busy this time of year but any input woukd be very welcome.
