About painting a straight line on the ceiling……
Get yourself one of those round french painter’s brushes available at Garret Wade. They are fantastic for moldings, but also for cuttng a straight line. You can cut an inside corner and never touch the other wall. I have several from 5/8″ to 1 1/2″. but they are marked in millimeters. They can hold a straight a line as you could want. Why they don’t make in the states is beyond me. They are available for oil or latex pants. Although I do have some that work equally well for both types of paint.
