   It's a plastic, heat weldable membrane (mostly commercial). I wouldn't be interested in it except A&D want's this project. Finally got some funds in today's mail. Several past dues paid up.Birth, school, work, death.....................

   I have pics to post from yesterday, just ain't got it outta the camera yet.

   My computer guru, who had my Toshiba LT FOREVER, sent me a BRAND NEW HP LT!!!  clean as a whistle...the Toshiba was too far gone to save, he says.   FREEBIE!

   So, I need to get all my stuff xferred that I want from this Desktop, and then gonna really clean it out too. Boggin down like all get out.

   Damm it got hot by the end of the day, hope ya like what we got done.

   I be making windows all weekend, 2 more holes to fill, and I got it done. No sign of the woodstove del. yet.  Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

   Perhaps this will "bump" your query into the fast lane, being as no one knows what the hell that stuff is..and if they did, they are too smart to divulge their tactics to us metal guys..

   I see a conundrum of sorts...lets just copper plate the whole job.

   TPO's a pretty good roofing system- Home Depot uses it on all of their stores, as do most of the other big boxes.  You can imagine that they want nothing but the best for their roofs, since they've got millions of dollars of inventory sitting underneath.

   That being said, the biggest problem I see is that if you're not a certified installer, the manufacturer won't warranty the system.  You might want to confirm that before you offer to do the work.

   If it's like EPDM and modified, there's no warranty on residential applications anyway. In this situation, about 5 sq is needed, but I have to buy a min. of 10 sq. By the time this job gets done, there'll be umpteen changes made. The architect has no further input after his plans are submitted in this case, so we'll talk the homeowner into doing what's best for him and his budget.Birth, school, work, death.....................

   Will torch-down (modified bitumen) work?  We did this on a basically flat roof - about 1/2 inch in 12 - and it's held for years.
