Grease is the one thing that will stain Trex. Trex has instructions on how to remove such stains in their literature (or check their website). As I recall it goes something like scrub with TSP then sand it with medium grade sandpaper. I have also used laquer thinner on my Trex to remove wood stain I was applying to my hot tub and got careless. Worked pretty good and didn’t phase the Trex.

We've had a couple of spots on ours. I just used my orbital sander and got rid of them. Can't even see where I sanded now.
*How do you stimulate the marble - buy it a drink?

Agree with brute force method (depends how deep the stain
penetrated). Trex is very easy to work, and you can use Trex dust
as a filler. I've been meaning to try that citrus cleaner. And don't
forget Simple Green.
Besides, the husband was the dodo who stained it, right? :)
Waiting to hear more about stimulated marble...
*Try brake cleaner spray from the automotive supply shops. It will clean grease like nothing else.
*Stimulated...you know, there's the real stuff, then there's the stimulated stuff...stimulated.

Hi I'm in a bit of a jam. I went out of my way to recommend trex decking to a customer and they were very pleased with the product until the husband spilled some grease onto the deck surface and they can't get rid of it. The stain seems to have penetrated the surface. Does anyone have any suggestions or cleaning products to use to remove the grease stain? Other than this, the decking has performed well. Thanks!
*I was wondering if anyone knows of a sheet goods product suitable to an outside bar, or table top surface. That would be both weather- proof, and stain resistant and easy to clean. ie. - a sheet of plastic? Please help me out. Thanks!
*Lexan? Otherwise known as polycarbonate. Install with silicon bronze boat screws. Or else whatever you feel like ...PS Isn't Trex supposed to be 'maintenance free' ? :-/b Been there, done that, it puckered

*Customer of mine tried all sorts of chems to clean the same stains. Finally settled on an industrial citrus cleaner. Enviro friendly. E-mail if you need a brand name. What about stimulated marble for that countertop. Silicone it to a stainless frame.
