Putting a topper cap on the bed of the truck. Was wondering what you’all recommend as a sill liner to keep water from creeping in along the seam?

What I do is go to the local truck cap supplier/installer and purchase a roll of the foam tape they use. It's about 2" wide. Can't remember how much they get for the stuff.
I use a couple of strips of foam pipe insulation split in half. I glue it to the cap only. It works great
Rez, If you don't have an over-the-rim bedliner, there's someone out there that markets a rubber seal with a magnetic bottom. slaps right onto the top rail of the bed and stays in place for the camper top.
Maybe JCWhitney.com.
Greg.
I got a new cap last month and they used foam tape like Scott described. They had to double it in a couple of places because of the bedliner- its under the rail at the sides and over at the front of the bed. Works fine .......... stays dry inside.
