Hi, I am installing an antenna on a chimmny that is in the center of the house, The tv is actually directly below the chimmny. I am wondering if there is a “good” way to do a roof penetration near the chimmny to drop the rotor wires, antenna signal and grounding wire in instead of running across the roof, looking ugly, then cutting into soffet and back into attic. Also I asusme a shorther run = a better signal. I was wondring about a 5/8″ hole in flat part of lead flashing, then solder a shield and silicone, or drill into asphalt shingle nad slip a pc of ;ead up above a shingle and wrap to flash. Ground wire would come in and go directly to water meter ground, or is the idea of bringing a ground into the house a bad idea?(unsafe). How about the ground over the roof, and the rest of my plan as stated? Thanks to all , work safe!, Dave

Probably best would be a small service entrance head with appropriate boot.
Note that the TV downlead must be coax or it will get clobbered getting near any sort of metal.
You need a GOOD ground for the antenna that runs OUTSIDE the house to a ground rod and then maybe ties into the house ground. Ideally you should have a box at the base of the antenna with a ground block for the coax and lightning arrestor for the rotor, so they can be grounded before entering the house. Otherwise, ASAP after entering the house.
