I hope to soon begin mudding and taping the drywall I’ve been installing. I’m planning to use the NO-Coat products for the inside and outside corners, but I’m confused about the difference between Ultraflex and Ultratrim. They appear to be similar products except for the width. Which one is the preferred choice for residential installations?

No Coat Products
I use both Ultra Flex Lite and Ultra Flex...the are the same except the Lite isn't as wide and the plastic reienforcement on back is also thinner.
I think they changed some of the product names...since I stocked last.
The bigger stuff is good ouside corners..wall ceiling . I use the thinner for alcoves and wall inside corners.
I belive the UltraTim you asked about it their precout 10' length stuff...so that would be for vertical - inside or outside.
But the other stuff is rolls, is awesome for those long ceiling/wall intersections.
Not sure what all the new instructions say..but i had trouble with this product at first...until I misted the backside of the product before, I placed it in place in the mud prepped area.
I really like their products.
I used ultra flex for the majority of my house I drywalled 3 years ago. I had bulkheads all over and cutting the product off the roll ment little waste. I used it for my outside corners also, but later I found that the ultra trim was precut to size and was less expensive than the ultra flex. I didn't have to bend it to the 90 degrees, it was already done . I bought a no coat corner roller for 90 degree corners and it seemed to fit the ultra trim better. I also really like their products.
Ok. Thanks for the feedback.
