I am replacing a 40 foot wall on a building build around 1920,and there is only about 6 inches from the out side of the wall to a rock cliff. so I need to prefab the new walls in 4 foot sections it will be a 2 by 4 wall with 1/2 cdx and hardy panel siding, that’s the only way I have figured how to do it as I have no access to the outside at all. question is were the panels seem together how to seal it I was thinking about battens over the seems but not even sure if I can get back there to nail em off! any help or suggestions would be most welcome thank you

Is there any special reason to build the wall in such small sections?
You could build the wall as a single unit and rent or borrow some wall jacks to stand it with.
