I’m planning on finishing a basement with a full bathroom ( stool, whirlpool, shower, and vanity ) and a small kitchen. The waste line is higher than the basement floor so I will have to pump the sewage up. To complicate matters there is a sump pit directly under where the home owner wants the shower. All the drain tile flows into it and the sump pump does run a lot during wet weather.
I have never had to pump sewage up before so I am not aware of which system is best. Should I move the sump pit to a closet nearby, or can I dig a pit for all the sewage and run the drain tile into it some how?
The kitchen will be on the other side of the basement. It will be tough to route the sink to the bathroom tank because of the needed fall in the drain line. Is there a small up flush system for just a sink. I would appreciate any advice anyone may have.
