To Everybody,
I need a little help with some thoughts on how to ventilate a roof with a dormer above it . A little background on the house it is a stucco and stone house with no overhangs. It is a cape code 2 story with a dormer that is set back about 4 feet the roof and side walls have minimal insulation 2″ thick yellow fiberglass. The ice is damming up the roof and under the shingles and into this small roof cavity and leaking onto the ceiling below. Does anyone know of a way to vent and insulate this so that I can solve this problem. Thank You David
