Is there such a thing as an isolation membrane that can be used between a vinyl floor and concrete? I an thing of a heavy duty “plastic” that you be attached to the concrete with mastic and then be stiff enough that you can install the vinyl without telegraphing.
The floor is a little rough. That can be fixed with some trowelable floor patch mix. But it has some cracks. They are about 1/32 with a 1/32 oftset. I am afraid that they would end up telegraphing through the after a time.
I would look at Dricore, but neither is (and there is another brand) are available in this area.
What other options are there? Attaching plywood (over a poly barrier) and then an underlayment grade plywood on that?
