Hey Everyone 🙂
I am newbie to this forum and hope I enjoy my stay over here. This looks to me the perfect place to learn & discuss more things about construction techniques, tools, interiors that are good for building a fine home. It has been about 15 days since I have been looking for some sought of information for installation of vinyl windows but my search ended in vain.
I have been discussing with many people around myself to come up with a good answer and also looking over the google to find correct and appropriate information. Finally I found a guide to install vinyl window and the workflow was drafted so well step by step that it made my work much easier. If anyone wishes to install vinyl windows himself this might be of help to you – http://valuewindowsdoors.wordpress.com/2013/09/18/vinyl-window-installation-guide/
It was certainly helpful for me and hope each & everyone out there understands this. The process tells about the tools required, the way to complete the task. The reason I am sharing this becasue I had to face so much difficulties for coming up with good answer and I want to make it easy for everyone else who wish to do the same. Hope this was helpful. Thanks 🙂

Welcome.
Welcome to the forum. The link in your post does seem to have some information on installation besides being a commercial website. But, beware, we are very sensitive here about SPAM, with good reason. There are people who try to use this site for commercial reasons and are very persistent about posting spam. If you're legit then you're welcom here.

I took a look as well and came away thinking the install instructions were pretty spartan at best. But I send Jacob a message inviting him to come back and respond. If he does, he's legit-if he don't, so long thread.
Hey Calvin,
Yeah, I got your message. Good to see that you find that pretty well.

I would caution those thinking of installing any vinyl window to read the specific install instructions for that window-tho in general the installs are very similar-there could be much more involved in the proper installation.
And, investigate the brand and make up of any window b/4 purchase. Some are half way decent, some are junk. Some because of how they are made, block alot of light and sight. Others at least attempt to strengthen the frame and sash without using wide extrusions.
A big part of how "replacement" windows work out depends on whether they are truly custom-made or whether the supplier simply picks "close enough" from their stock.
And, of course, accurate measurement by a trained factory rep is critical.
Thank You
Hey Mike, Thank you for such a warm welcome. I appreciate it. I understand what you are trying to say but no worries man. I just wanted to share things with this community, moreover, learn and engage in different activities. The reason I shared because I thought there might be someone who would be looking around for this kind of information and if that person is able to grasp some knowledge it is better for him. That was my little concern :)
I vote for it being SPAM. Those aren't instructions for installing anything. More like a generla guide you picked up at a hardware show.

I pretty much thought the same thing when I looked. I don't believe the link took you to the install-you were meant to walk around and look for it..................
and, "install instructions"? necessary to do the job right? hardly.
And since anyone reading should be already alerted to a free ad alert, lets see if the lad comes back and states his case a bit better.
His reply to me seems personal and legit. His original post may have been an "ice breaker" just to introduce himself and start a conversation.
Mike
it beats a kitchen don't it?
There's enough truth in what you see to keep it up.
thanks.
