Does anybody have any advice on taking the <!—-><!—-> <!—->Virginia<!—-><!—-> class A,B builders exam. There are a ton of study guides on line (none of them cheap) I was wondering if any one had any luck with one.
Thanks.

There are lots of ways to minimize air leakage and improve energy efficiency, even in an older home.

I purchased the NASCLA Contractor's Guide and it was very helpful.

It's open book, at least that's what I've been told. I've had my A license since 1977. Those I have met, smart and not so smart have all passed this test. Don't waste your time on the B license, go for the A, eventually you'll need it. Fill out your profile would help too.

I think that I'll give the contractor guide a shot. shellbuilder I think I'll take your advice and go right to the class A. It didn't take long to out grow the class c and I'm retiring from active duty in a few years no reason to have to go back and take one more test. Thanks for the advice.
