Shakey Jake, it’s been months since I ordered a replacement chop-saw blade guard for my Delta compound-mitre. I’ll post any new developments, or get a new saw.

Heya Shake-n-bake,
Brushes for a tablesaw for me, but it's only been a couple weeks so far.
*I ordered a spindle for my delta table saw around last november and got it when it was promised. Lately I see less and less Delta and Porter-Cable and more and more made in China stuff, May just be a sign of the times or the competition but it's discomforting. I've always counted on Delta for quality and will continue to support them with my dollars. Skip

Has anyone else been waitng for replacement parts for their Delta tools? Sometime in January I called the Delta 800 number seeking help and parts for my drill press. The guy on the other end didn't have much advice so I just ordered what parts I thought I needed. Gave him my credit card number and he tells me twelve days delivery time. Six weeks later I e-mail Delta and ask what's up. About a week later a guy from the Porter-Cable service center calls me, said he read my e-mail and my part should be reaching him by the end of the week and that they would be shipping it out to me the following Monday. He explained that Delta and Porter-Cable are merging their parts distributions centers. About the same time the president of Delta posted a message on their web site stating basically the same thing. He gave April 1 as the date things would be back to normal. Anybody get their parts yet?
