I have a 3 story building. Every floor I have 5 units (1 bachelor suits, 3 One bed suits and 1 Two bed suits). Recently City upgraded and replaced water meter. Since then my water bill went 3 times higher. It is consistently higher. City put 1.5″ water meter. However, they told If I downsize my water meter then my bill will be substantially reduced. My building has total 15 units and monthly water usage around 480 CCF. Can I change my water to .75″? What impact it’s gonna have with this down sized meter? I want to try with 1″ water meter. Can I try with .75″ meter? I will save monthly 350$ if I can reduce my meter to 1″ and will save 450$ per month if I can use .75″ meter. Same water consumption, with smaller meter will save this much money!!! Please advice me with your opinion. Sincerely, Amir
