Just fishing for suggestions on how to waterproof a cinder block exterior wall of home that is constructed on the side of a hill. Problem is the house was built in 1969 and where the slab meets the cinder block (which in some places is 6′ under ground). When I purchased the house 10 years ago I actually dug down the exterior to the slab and coated the wall with a roofing tar type material and installed a french drain but unfortunately that has failed.

What options (on a budget) do I have
