to the new shop. I don’t have pictures yet as we have only the office really organized but it is great to get it done before winter. Nice to have some room and be able to find everything we have on hand again. And to get some of the trucks indoors when idle.
The short list of things we managed to get done since we bought it are: re-roof 60% of the building complete with sheathing, all new plumbing and fixtures, repaint office areas, new lighting in office and in main shop, repair main shop insulation and add chicken wire to hold it up.
We put a cover of galvanized steel around the roof banding to protect it and make it more maintenance free, coated old roof areas, layed new block on the one wall that had broken caps, new furnace and ductwork for office area, carpet office, move all the stuff in.
We had added a couple of guys and trucks lately so we were starving for shop space and parking for both work vehicals and personal stuff. So now I have a 25′ X 30′ two story that is empty. Bet that won’t last long lol. DanT

Way to go. I finished up the shell of my shop building a couple of months back, and now 'stuff' is accumulating in there. Probably time to break ground on another building, so I can maybe have some actual workspace.
Isn't it AMAZING how your "stuff" expands to fit the available space and then some more!

My barn/garage/shop is almost 10,000 sq ft. When I bought the place 4 years ago from a retiring contractor it was FULL of his sh*t. After 2 years of weekly trips to the dump it was finally all mine. Fast forward 2 years and now it's FULL of MY sh*t.
I wish I had possession bulemia, stick a finger down my throat and all this crap would upchuck & disappear down the drain.

Man... I know... I got this concrete vibrator, thing's the size of a mutant Burmese python, every time I go in there it wraps around my leg and takes me down. The other problem I have is that I brought back about 4 million pieces of leftover trim and plopped it down right in the middle of the place. I gotta get like other contractors here and just burn the leftover wood after the job.
