I have a friend who went through the time and EXPENCE of obtaining Eastern White Cedar shingles to cover his entire house here in Anchorage, AK.
We are looking for any articles in FHB mag or any other source, which describes how to 'weave' a pattern into the shingle, sided walls.
I seem to remember an article on diamond patterns and one on for Swan or Goose pattern-- I can't find it now through FHM's search engines.
Please-does anyone recall this Swan/Goose or diamond pattern, or can anyone recommend another source?
Thanks very much,
Rick
*mike guertin was the author of the patterns....try a search by his name..also...the patterns are more crisp is you are using red cedar R&R (resquared and rebutted)..here's a diamond that mike inspired...
*Geez Mike,You yell at Blue for posting too small, but I can't wait all day for 142k to show up on my screen!
