I am confused. I searched the archives and didn’t find a discussion on this so I thought I would ask. I am doing a kitchen addition in Maryland and need a few windows (vinyl) to go into the new space and a french/sliding door for a opening that will be cut in the dining room and a couple of windows that will be changing size. I have chosen stock sizes (according to Pella and Anderson) and would like to get the best value for my money. I looked at Pella and Anderson and they look pretty good. I looked at the big boxes and they had a couple of others that didn’t look so good.
So my question to you is who’s windows do you like for the money?
Thanks

Pella proline would be first, then andersen wash and tilt but its real close. The patio door would be Pella proline, andersen if I have to carry it through the house, much easier when in kit form.
hard to go wrong with the Andersons. You buy a company that backs'em up.
Wondered what you thought of Anderson's 200 Series line and Marvin's Integrity line. Went to some seminars and they both seemed like good windows for the money but the proof is in the real world.
