Bosch or Milwaukee for the heat gun. Mine has been at a bunch of years.
Senco for air nailer.
Who ever invented work didn't know how to fish....
Milwaukee heat guns, unless they have changed from the simple design, looks like a common blow drier, and all metal housing, are reliable. I have seen these units last for decades of near daily use and abuse.
After a generation or so the switch goes out and the handle breaks, shouldn't have used it for a wheel chock, but a new switch, really common design, and a whittled piece of two by two and a couple of sheetmetal screws put it right for another decade.
Only down side is that the Milwaukee housing gets hotter than hell. Reach down without looking can lead to some nasty burns and you have to arrange someplace, a buddy uses half a concrete block, to keep it off the finished surfaces. The Bosch, I remember them as having a plastic cowl of some sort, might not have this problem but might not last as long either.
PC is my favorite brand of powered hand ytools but I have yet to hear anything good about their air tools
Excellence is its own reward!
I have the 15 gauge angle trim gun and the 18 gauge brad nailer and they both have held up well but I would like to find an 18 gauge hoseless stapler to add to my tool collection but I have never seen one.
