Need to order a whirlpool and shower unit for our master bath remodel. I prefer a soaking tub, but my wife wants a whirlpool with “the bubbles and lights”.

(sigh)

She likes the novelty; I just want something for my aching joints and muscles. I’d just like a tub that is deep and comfortable with a feature for keeping the water warm.

As for the shower unit, I’d like something with a seat in it. I’m at the age where I can use that sometimes. Wife doesn’t care much since she prefers baths to showers and probably won’t use it much anyway. I can work in a 48″ unit, and possibly even make room for a 60″ unit. NOT looking for one of those “car wash” setups, though.

We have another full bath with a simple tub/shower combo that can also be utilized as needed, but we’re hoping to adorn the master bath with something a little more envigorating.

I can’t say that price is no object here, but we’re willing to stretch the budget as far as possible. Been shopping online and I’m overwhelmed by all the choices. I’m finding it very difficult to locate display models locally and I just don’t know which brands really deliver the best return on investment.

I would sincerely appreciate any recommendations or feedback that you may have to offer.
