Who sells the one piece central AC units
I’ve searched and cannot locate the company, in York, PA that sells central AC direct to consumers. Someone posted a link a few weeks back. Any one know?
While we’re on the topic, has anyone installed a one-piece (term?) unit? It sounds like just a step above an in the wall (or window) unit, with duct work being the only difference. If I can get one for $1200, I’d gladly do my own ducts.

OK, I found it - http://stores.ebay.com/DESCOs-Wholesale-HVAC-Center_W0QQsspagenameZL2QQtZkm
I'd like to explore installing a packaged system - no lines needed etc, in a new house I am building.
Thoughts, comments, opinions accepted.
I've ordered both via phone and from ebay from Desco, always been treated right. They did a good backup job for me with a claim to ABF for shipment damage on one packaged unit (what you are talking about) .
Shipped one to my mothers house in IL last year and installed it in a weekend, used 6 inch and 8 inch flex ducts from Menards, made internal plenum from sheet metal. Used a 7-1/4 inch diamond blade ($14 HF cheapie) to cut the brick foundation to match the return and supply . Got that 4T Goodman from Desco for $1400 last year (prices have gone up since then), got a $450 rebate from the power company, pretty cheap install, ran 60A and 40A circuits in PVC conduit.
Luck to be in York, a good supply center.
