I have HURD wood casement windows with a 2×6 exterior wall and R19 insulation. Whenever the outside Temp drops below 20f, moisture develops on the glass approx 1-2″ above the sill. This occurs on ALL the windows. Interior Temp is 70-72f, humidty is 30-40%. HURD doesn’t know what the problem is and the builder is also perplexed. I don’t want to ruin my sills or cause damage from freezing. ANY IDEAS?
The home is located in Cols Ohio. I have tried running the furnace fan continously with no luck.

Most likely it is to much moisture in your home. If you do not have a quality meter to read humidity it could be way off in its reading. As long as your windows are not building up frost, its probably not the fault of the window company, as frost would indicate an air leak. Use your exhaust fans as often as possible and make sure your furnace registers below the windows are open and blowing a warm air film over the windows.
