In Randolph, Mass is a company called Russo Stoves. Rich Russo is one of the owners, I have dealt with him in the past, he appears to be very fair.
They sell high end products such as Enviro Pellet stoves. I installed my own pellet stove and it was relatively easy.
As a Plumber, you could also consider Zero-Clearance fireplaces with gas logs, or maybe even jump on the "outside living spaces" trend with outside heaters, or high end grills with a gas or propane connection.
