Wood Shingle overlap on Concrete Foundation
We have 16″ white cedar shingles over Home Slicker on Zip Sheathing for a wall cladding on a 2×6 stud wall. The issue is that the concrete foundation wall was built up too tall in one area and now the shingles / sheathing assembly must overlap the concrete wall by about 2′ in the worst case so we don’t have too much concrete exposed. Normal shingle nails cannot be use obviously. Is there a way to solve the problem of attaching the shingles? Thank you.

Tapcon screws.
Plane issues?
Are you hoping for an uninterupted surface where you change from below to above the mud sill? Do you want it to be all in the same plane?
I'm guessing you know about pressure treated plywood. Could you fasten that, plus whatever shims you need to the face of the concrete with Mike's tapcons, then use stainless nails to fasten the shingles to the pressure treated plywood?
Are the walls above already framed and sheathed?
