What’s the best method for making the joints watertight in wooden gutters? I’m familiar with the old lead, copper tacks, and roofing tar techique, but there’s got to be a better way. A contractor once used some small pieces of rubber roofing and its’ adhesive on the gutters on my house, and that’s held up well for ten years. Any other ideas, like maybe some high tech adhesive?
