I know, I know not another one but I’m curious…
I’m using different species in different rooms and will obviously complete one room before another and so on throughout the house. My question is:
Should I sand and finish (oil, poly, still not sure?) each room before moving onto the next or do the whole house at once? Obvioulsy the sanding from other rooms would be a problem if it got into the new finish but if it takes me a few weeks to do the whole house (I’m doing it with just one helper) would the flooring that is down run any risks by not having a coat of “something” on it? We wouldn’t walk on it but I’m just the paranoid type.
Whats your take on this?
Mike
