For this waterview home, we chose a fireplace design that included a manufactured stone with a wood cap and floating shelves.

Taking into account the smaller living room in this home, we simply trimmed out the fireplace with slate tile and a simple surround with a minimal shelf on top and flanked it with open window seats that offer storage below.

This stone fireplace is 2 stories tall and made from natural stone. The wooden shelf/mantle offers additional display areas. There is a seating ledge all the way around the fireplace and it offers a gas start to this woodburning unit.

A custom Metal surround was made for this gas log fireplace. We made custom wood panels to give it a contemporary look and added hidden doors on both sides that hide the electronics and DVD/CD storage.
