A new entrance was created at the former porch, located between living room and garage.
A deck and patio lead out to the owners extensive garden and rock pond.
This is the addition, a dining and living space with vaulted ceiling.
The living room was opened into the new frant entry hall and the fireplace surround and mantel were updated.
The galley kitchen and breakfast area were remodeled.

Carlsen & Frank Architects designed this addition and remodeling of a one story ranch house in Edina, Minnesota. A new exterior front entrance was added, an interior entrance hall and mud room created between the house and the attached garage. The one story addition off the rear is a dining and living area with vaulted ceiling and built-in cabinets dividing the space. The original galley kitchen was remodeled, modifications were made to the living room, including an updated fireplace surround and mantle. A deck and patio are located to the rear of the house leading to the owner's extensive garden.
