I would like to begin by saying that most of my tools are Bosch and I have had good success with their products to this point. I had an issue with a jig saw, recip saw and the CS10 all within the year. My Bosch rep worked with my retailer, Canadian Woodworker and they hit one out of the park for me. Together they replaced all three tools with no questions the next day and I didnt have to wait for the warrenty to kick in and have new tools sent to me with a loss of work days. The recip and jig saw as I expected have been up to par to this point, the CS10 however is not. I had issues with the first one I got as it was so loose between the shoe and the saw that 90* cuts were almost impossible. I tried to tighten the connection but I figured if I stripped it out I would be charged to have it fixed. They sent me the new one and from the moment I took it out of the box I regretted getting this saw. The connection was worse on this one then the last one. There is more flex in this saw then a cheep no-name brand for $49. Bosch should not be putting this saw out on the market as their top end saw. I owned the CS20 prior to and had it for over 5 years with no such issues before it got retired. I appreciate the power of the saw, the comfort of the handle and the rafter hook - great idea. However for a tool that is so poorly put together out of the box that costs a premium I would not recommend this saw.
