It may look like a toy, but the Bostitch CAP1516 has an air-volume capacity of 1.8 cfm at 90 psi, enough to keep a professional finish carpenter moving all day. The 8-amp universal motor and 1.6-gal. reserve tank are protected in a durable plastic shell, and at 20 lb., this is one of the lightest compressors available. At 75 db., it is quieter than most other oilless compressors. Although you should still wear ear protection, this hot dog compressor doesn't need to be banished to the garage.
